Coach Keno Davis is the head men's basketball coach at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to accepting his position at Providence, he served as head men's basketball coach at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa during the 2007-2008 season. While at Drake, Coach Davis was named the National Coach of the Year for leading the Bulldogs to a 28-5 record and the school's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 37 years.
Prior to becoming head coach, Coach Davis was the head assistant coach at Drake University for four seasons. Before moving to Drake, Coach Davis was the head assistant coach at Southeast Missouri State University which advanced to the 2000 NCAA Tournament after posting a 24-6 record, winning both the Ohio Valley Conference regular season and tournament championships.
Coach Davis also served as an assistant coach that helped lead the University of Southern Indiana to consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championships and appearances in the 1996 and 1997 NCAA Division II Tournament.
Originally from Easton, Pennsylvania., Coach Davis served as an undergraduate assistant at the University of Iowa from 1991-1995. In addition to writing "Camp Success!", Coach Davis also co-authored "Pressure Defense" which was published in 1994.
